New Carpati Farm

We will have u-pick mushrooms, and DIY (Do-It-Yourself) mushroom kit making so you can take home mushroom spawn to cultivate. Workshops will be held at 11 am, 2 pm, and 3:30 pm each day. We'll have a cooking demonstration with shiitakes by Chef Austin Menard at 11:30 am on Saturday only. Austin has experience at restaurants arounds the world including Japan and Italy. He specializes in vegetarian cuisine. DIY workshop and cooking demo will be in covered space in event of rain. Visit our small flock of rare Jacob sheep, and our 3 alpacas. You can feed these very photogenic animals. Take a look at our ducks (Swedish and Crested). Kids can pick one up! Take a look, and sit on our cob benches featuring strawbale and mycotechture natural building techniques. Reservations are needed for anyone in camping or sleeping over in our glamping tent.
