Luther Burbank Experiment Farm

Saturday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Join us for a family-friendly day on the farm! Docents will lead guided tours of the farm at 11 am and 1 pm, describing Burbank's work as an internationally recognized plant breeder of the early 20th century with his experiment farm right here in Sebastopol. Self-guided tour map also available.

The historic cottage and gift shop will be open. Heirloom fruit trees, garden plants, and specialty succulents and planters will be available for purchase. We will be doing a special sale of fruit trees for the tour! Only $30 for fruit trees that will fit in your car!

Jam Nation will play our favorites folk songs to sing along to from 12 to 1 pm.

Watch the Slow Food Russian River community apple press in action. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the shade of Burbank's old trees with a view of his orchard and space for kids to play.

Your purchases and donations help us preserve this historic site. Venmo, check, and cash.
