Join us for the Sonoma County Farm Trails Fall Tour! We’ll have fun things for the kids to do and will be having our fall perennial plant sale at the farm stand. We will be offering several tours, each lasting about 45-60 minutes. Tours are $5 for each person, including kids. Check beesnblooms.com for times and to sign up. 1) The Buzz About Bees: Learn what the bees are doing at this time of year as they prepare for winter. Includes a visit to the top-bar beehive with a window, so you can see the bees at work. 2) Preparing your garden for winter: Fall is a busy time in the gardens here at Bees N Blooms, as we use the principles of regenerative agriculture to boost our soil health, beat the weeds, give perennials a head start, make sure the native bees are taken care of, and make the farm resilient in the face of winter rains. Join us to learn how to apply these techniques to your own garden! 3) Lavender Processing: Learn about different lavender varieties and how we process our lavender here at Bees N Blooms to make lavender buds and lavender essential oil and hydrosol.
