SATURDAY UPDATE: We have lots of indoor space at the barn! Coloring activities, picnic areas and taco truck, cozy ambiance, compline hot tea and cocoa! Rain not a problem! Come out out and have a fun day at the Ranch.

Join us at the iconic Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen from 10 AM to 3 PM Saturday, May 4. Guided walking tours will be presented at 10:30, 11:30,12:30, and 1:30, showcasing the diverse workings of the Atwood Ranch. Topics will include ranch history, vineyard practices, ecosystems, multi-species grazing, and more, ending with a demonstration on grazing cattle on electric fencing.

Bring the whole family to experience interactions with goats, cattle, horses, and the majestic scenery that Atwood Ranch has to offer. Information and handouts will be displayed by the Halter Project along with a kids coloring activity area. Meet and greet local artist Anika Gustafson, who will have a selection of her beautiful handcrafted artwork on display and available for purchase in the barn

Make us your lunch stop along the tour! The barn will be open for picnicking throughout the event or you may purchase food from Costa’s Tacos who will be cooking up delicious Mexican bites from 11-2pm.

Getting Here

Special Instructions

Google Maps will identify Atwood Ranch driveway as Weise Road.
There is no sign for Weise Rd. Atwood Ranch signs are at driveway entrance.
Ranch frontage has white rail fence.

Heading Southeast on CA Hwy 12 (Toward Sonoma)

• DO NOT attempt a left turn on Hwy 12 at Ranch entrance.
• We strongly recommend driving past the Ranch
to the Arnold Dr./Glen Ellen signal light.
• Turn right at signal and veer immediately right onto Dunbar Rd., where
you can make a safe U-turn back onto Arnold.
• At the signal light, turn left onto Westbound Hwy 12
• Atwood Ranch is 1.2 miles from the signal and will be on your right.
• Look for white rail fence. Slow down and use turn indicator as soon as
you see the white fence.

Northwest on CA Hwy 12 (Toward Santa Rosa)
• Atwood Ranch is 1.2 miles west from the Arnold Dr./Glen Ellen
signal light and will be on your right.
• Look for white rail fence. Slow down and use turn indicator
as soon as you see the white fence.
PARKING
• Please drive slowly up the driveway. Follow the signs to the barn.
• Parking is a short distance away, requires walking on level
but uneven ground.
FOR YOUR COMFORT
• Barn is split/level with 5 steps with a handrail between floors. Floor is
concrete, outdoors, sand and gravel. Wear comfy, sturdy boots or shoes.
