Cocktails To Go
One of the most surprising things to happen during the pandemic is the California Department Alcohol Beverage Control allowing restaurants with the proper licensing to sell cocktails to go as part of their takeout menu. These restaurants are offering a range of seasonal cocktails, including some that are alcohol-free, many inspired by local ingredients and featuring local spirits. Must be 21 or over to purchase or consume cocktails with alcohol. Cheers!
Union Hotel Occidental: A bastion for classic cocktails, their signature December cocktail is Eggnog & Grand Marnier with a slice of orange. 3731 Bohemian Highway, Occidental; 707-874-3555
Another of the changes to ABC laws during the pandemic was the allowance of distilleries to sell their spirits online for shipping within California. At Spirit Works Distillery's online store, you can shop for holiday cocktails kits featuring their gin, bourbon, and whiskey.
