Mushroom Brunch Cooking Class

We are combining our love for the mid morning meal with the bounty of Northern California’s rainy season for a truly magical mushroom brunch!
One of nature’s most versatile foods, mushrooms are a delicious way to add unique depth of flavor and nutritional value to any meal. Whether you are an experienced forager or a mushroom novice, eager to learn the names of a few different species, this hands on class will provide you with recipes to incorporate mushrooms into an incredibly delicious brunch menu. Chef Daniel Kedan will cover a surprisingly sweet Candy Cap French toast, herby mushroom hash and the secrets to hollandaise sauce. He will discuss the important roll fungi play in our local ecosystem, highlight varieties that can be found growing wild in Northern California and also provide resources for purchasing organic mushrooms cultivated right here in Sonoma County!
A full brunch meal with beverages will be served in class.
