Harvest Festival at Sonoma Garden Park

Join Sonoma Ecology Center on Saturday, October 4, for the 2025 Annual Harvest Festival, 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Sonoma Garden Park—a joyful, family-friendly gathering that brings our community together in one of Sonoma’s most beloved green spaces. The Harvest Festival is held at Sonoma Garden Park, a community garden and public oasis just a few minutes from downtown Sonoma, stewarded by Sonoma Ecology Center. The festival promises a full day of live music from local artists Jack Hines, Cliff Zyskowski and Eric Joost, and Big Luv Band, farm games and nature crafts, a critter zone featuring reptiles and Studdert Family Farm’s Petting Zoo, delicious food and beverages from local vendors like El Coyote, Sonoma Churros, and Sonoma Syrup Co., a spirited salsa-making competition, and plenty of hands-on nature experiences for all ages.
More than just a seasonal celebration, the Harvest Festival is a vibrant expression of the values we share—community, sustainability, and a deep love for the land. Come connect with neighbors, experience the magic of autumn at the park, and support the ongoing care of this treasured place. Let’s come together to celebrate the season and grow something beautiful together! Follow @sonomaecologycenter on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop as we get closer to October’s Harvest Festival.
Sign up for the Harvest Festival Salsa-Making Contest! We’re calling all amateur chefs to enter our Salsa-Making Contest! We chose salsa for this year’s culinary competition because we wanted to celebrate the flavorful, seasonal ingredients grown right here at Sonoma Garden Park while reflecting the vibrant communities of Sonoma Valley. We’re excited to announce that the Salsa-Making Contest is sponsored by Sonoma’s own La Casa Restaurant & Bar—who are generously supplying the delicious tortilla chips that the competitors’ salsas will be sampled on. Bring your best creation and let the community decide whose salsa reigns supreme! The contest will be judged by your fellow Harvest Festival attendees on Saturday, October 4, at the Harvest Festival. The Harvest Festival is free to attend and open to all. The Harvest Festival is a true community event—a day for us to come together and celebrate sustainable agriculture, delicious food, and the people, nature, and wildlife that make Sonoma Valley special. The Harvest Festival is for everyone, and we’re glad to be able to offer this activity-filled day with free admission thanks to the support of our wonderful sponsors: Sonoma Clean Power, Sonoma County Farm Bureau, Sonoma County Ag + Open Space, Nugget Markets, Sonoma Garbage Collectors, Exchange Bank, Sonoma Water, Zero Waste Sonoma, Napa Sonoma Oral Surgery & Dental Implants, and The Presentation School.
The Harvest Festival is also supported by in-kind donations from Cassidy Ranch, Moonlight Brewing Company, Sonoma Syrup Co., Winery Sixteen 600, and La Casa Restaurant & Bar.
