Floral Workshops at SingleThread Farms are designed and led by Katina Connaughton, head farmer, floral designer and co-owner at SingleThread and her talented team of Floral Designers. These workshops offer guests the opportunity to delve into many disciplines – flower growing and harvesting techniques, elements and execution of design, use of floral shop tools, identification of seasonal materials and more. The workshop will feature the flowers and botanicals from the month and season.

Join us for a field tour and harvest to enliven our senses and connect us with the present. Inspired by the intersection of culinary crops and cut flowers, we will focus on the aromatic properties of summer crops and the unique advantage of incorporating them in our floral designs. After our harvest and with our arms full of herbs and flowers, we will share time together in our studio creating thoughtfully designed bouquets while enjoying refreshments from our SingleThread culinary team. Guests will also receive a pair of exclusive, hand crafted Japanese pruners to continue harvesting and designing in the future:
