MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND AT POPPIES & PETALS FARM: Celebrate Mom at Poppies & Petals Farm, Saturday & Sunday, May 13 & 14. There will be pre-cut flower buckets full of flowers we’ve grown available at our Flower Bar. Our patrons can make a bouquet themselves or we can help with making their arrangement and they can point us towards which flowers and colors they prefer. MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH AT LARSON FAMILY WINERY: Join Larson Family Winery on Mother’s Day, May 14, for delicious catered boxed brunches, prepared by Out to Lunch Catering. EVENTS AT SONOMA GARDEN PARK: This 6.1-acre sustainable garden is hosting a number of recurrent and one-time events. On Fridays, 12 -3 pm, shop for drought-tolerant and pollinator-friendly plants at their California Native Plants Sale. Their Harvest Market, on Saturdays, 9 am-12 pm, is a great place to pick up produce, flowers, and eggs harvested on-site. On Saturday, May 20, 10 am-12 pm, go to their Sustainable Water Use in the Home Landscape Workshop, presented by Master Gardeners Sharon Mascia and Ellen Scarr, and assisted by Sonoma Ecology Center’s Native Plant Nursery Manager Hannah Aclufi. SHEEP MEDITATION & GOAT YOGA AT CHARLIE’S ACRES: Charlie’s Acres has two fun events coming up. You may have heard of goat yoga, but we’re slowing it down a bit and relaxing with sheep meditation, on May 20, 10-11:30 am. Enjoy the sounds of nature and crystal singing bowls as you sit with the rescued sheep residents. On May 21, 10-11:30 am, enjoy the phenomenon of goat yoga.
