with Backyard Restaurant

Details:

~ $125 per Person, Limit 15

Enjoy an exclusive opportunity to visit one of the founding families of Sonoma County ag and viticulture, the Dutton Ranch. Steve Dutton, the second generation grape farmer, is offering a unique opportunity to come visit the ranch and hear iconic stories about Luther Burbank; such as when Steve Dutton's great-great uncle, Warren Dutton, challenged Burbank to plant/graft 20,000 French prune trees in the the late 1800's, later dubbing Burbank the "plant wizard" upon completion. Steve's father, another Warren Dutton, was a viticulture visionary, planting the first Chardonnay grapes west of Hwy 116 in 1967, despite widespread consternation. Visit the home ranch and original Chardonnay block; learn about their organic apples and wine-growing practices; check out the tools and equipment required to grow and process their crops; and taste the bounty that they produce.

Enjoy a farm-fresh meal prepared by the extraordinary, Michelin-rated Backyard Forestville team after the tour.

It's the pinnacle of wine country living, fresh from the source... buy in now!

*Every couple (two tickets required) receives a bonus gift: a bottle of the much-celebrated and highly rated Dutton-Goldfield Pinot Noir.
